How many links is on a 400ex chain, I did a search and all I could find is 94 links, now ive counted this chain 100 times and I get 100, and its too short. What are you counting??

bike has stock swing arm, 14-38 gearing.

well your running diff smaller gearing =less chain...did you pull your axle back when took link out the last time...when u take links out you have to pull the axle back....i think a stock 400ex chain is 98 links..and are your it s a 520 chain

i found the problem, im dyslexic and I cant count.

My stock one has 92 links. This is also what the manual called for. Just get a 100 or 110 link chain and break it to wherever.:)

well I know how many links its supposed to have. I just cant count.
