Do I have to remove the swingarm to replace my chain slider?

I want to replace the forward most drive chain slider on my 300ex because it is getting worn. I was wondering, do I have to remove my swingrm to replace it or i sit possible to replace it with the swingarm on?

I think if you take a look at it you'll know the answer. If the swingarm bolt goes through it, then yes! I've seen an aftermarket company that makes split chain sliders so you won't have to take the whole swingarm off next time.
