Which cams are reground, and which ones are billet? I want to avoid having a cam that is harder than the rockers are. I guess the HRC is billet, right? And I am guessing Hot Cams are reground? What about TC Racing?

you can run the hotcam, HRC, and TC cams with stock rockers. none of these are hardened.

I noticed the other day that someone was offering billet cams too. And was wondering about hardened rockers.... So if we use a billet cam, we don't have to run hardened rockers?

Colby at C&D Racing sells a billet cam made by Magnum. Says it's a copy cat of the Web Cam 479 grind

You can run some of the more aggressive cams that need hardened rockers on stock rockers but you'll only get about 6-8 hours of use out of the stock rockers before they are toast.

I won't mention names but I know of someone that did this for several months, running a web 451 cam with stock rockers...

i thought megacycle made a billet one for the 400ex too?? maybe not, but i thought so. i believe the one C&D sells they recommend heavy duty springs for, but i believe they say you can run stock rockers in it.
