I would guess Yamaha has a gear case oil, otherwise i would look into Amsoil, im sure they make oil for the application...

his grandpaw put 10w 30 in there when they got it and put so much in there it started shootin out some some where while riding. i think we will go to the yamaha dealer and buy some yamalube

Yamalube would be the easiest, and best bet...

yea cant go wrong with yamalube...just ask the guys in the shop which to get they can help ya.

I would guess 10 40 isn't thick enough, you most likely need GEAR OIL, I would call your yamaha dealer and ask them

for my blaster, yamaha suggest any high grade 10w30
