electric start kit??????

Im thinking about upgrading from my kfx 400 to the 450r this up coming spring, but i was looking for a electric start kit for it. Does anybody know if they make them yet???

lol...this four wheeler isnt for you if you are that worried about the electric start...just keep your KFX400 man..its not the electric start kinda four wheeler...its like wanting a dune buggy with leather interior and flat screen TV's....dont need it

Your best bet is to wait out Honda. There are a lot of rumors that Honda will be adding an electric start to the TRX450R now that they have released the CRF450X. I would think since the Yamaha YFZ450 is selling so well that we will see an electric start within the next two years.

Electric start is a waste. I like my kick start.

I would rather kick start my bike than worry about it not starting when the battery is dead.:D By the way the 450r is the easiest kick starting bike I have ever tried. Anyone that wants to try to kick start something hard......jump on my 250r and if you don't were a boot with my 250r you will get HURT.

That's the truth! After kicking the 250 over all these years I really can't see what is so tough about the 450. The thing takes so little effort to kick over. If it takes more than 3 kicks somthing is wrong, like me leaving the key in the off position! doh!!

oh im no ***** about kicking starting a damn bike i have kick started my 87 banshee for 4 years and my 250r 3wheeler for a couple years so i know all about kick starting a bike, i was just wanting to know if there was a electric start for the bike that it.

i had some yfz guy try telling me that its hard as hell to start a big bore 450r...said it was a 500....is this true..or is he full of sh*t

im sure it would be a little bit harder to start but he trying to tell me he raced four times b4 the guy got it started....i dont know he thinks the yfzs are next to god...

i have a 500r and it starts real easy. next year they will have electric start

hey jb how are you doing against the yfz's....that guy said his was beating honda 500 all day at the dunes...his yfz has sparks pipe and timing done...thats all he has...it sounded alittle far fetched to me...
