these are some serious drag machines and they all look good.
but theres no way i would spend that kind of loot on a quad that can't turn and jump.
i just wanna see one of those machines take a small 25 foot double and clear it then turn right and hit another one .
that first one called wicked is bad ***! but it looks like the frame was built with 1/4" inch tubing.i'd be scared to ride for fear of the frame braking ,even if it's on level land.
they're all good though!!

what do you think,i'm some kind of idiot? i know those machines aren't made for jumping.that was just a dumb post.i know exactly what they are made for and what they are capable of doing.
i'm not a 15 year old punk, that doesn't know my head from my arse. and i wouldn't be dumb enough to pull up next to one of those machines and try and race it in the sand,i know what the outcome would be.
i was being completely sarcastic when i said i would like to see one hit a small double.cause i knew it would'nt happen.

04-22-2002, 06:54 PM
no , my post was the same as yours.. its obzious they werent made for jumping, they are made for straight lines...duh, you knew that, well then ok..

trx400ex hey i don't wanna get on your bad side here.besides i might need you to show me around down in that area sometime.i have a place over by danville illinois in a real small town called Cayuga.it's about 20 miles north of terre haute on 63,
i hear there is some serious riding places down by crawfordsville.maybe i can get ahold of you some time and we can get together roost on some people.
i make quite a few trips to the badlands every year but i really want to check out haspin acres i hear that it's alot nicer then attica.let me know what you think and tell if you feel i'm worthy of riding with you .take it easy later.

Shazam is one sweet looking dragger, but this is one of my favorites. Its a 685 Rotax and was built by a local. It was dyno'd over 300hp.

yeah that last drag machine is nasty.
those are the kind of drag quads the guys around here build. these peole are sick
one guy has a 250r with a thudercat 1000 motor with a stroker 1300+ kit with nitrous.it's sick i tell youover 400 horse with the nitrous.
i have another guy that has a polaris style quad with a 780 rotax big bore 800+ cc's that runs on methanol and nitrous.he runs high 8 second quartermile times at 150+ mph.

This is dumb, but i noticed a lot of those machines don't have and heel guards. Has anybody ever seen somebody lose their balance and get sucked off the back by the rear tires? Just wondering

I have a video on www.planetsand.com of Crankenstein on the home page.......This quad did 90mph the next day. I wasn't there for that one. A record up the hill for any quad of any size.....WICKED was there too, but wasn't running right. He is Cam Miller owner of Hscustoms.com.

Chef

Sandgod4
04-28-2002, 09:39 PM
It's a 750 Rotax. I believe it's a bored and stroked 680. I'm not sure. Cams is a 250cc w/ 92 hp..

sorry marty, just from the first pic you put on it looks like the exhuast never breaks off to the turbo.i knew they were under the seat but that would be a definate sleeper.
by the way how does kit work? is it a pretty fast setup? can you waste gate that setup?

Marty,
I looked at all the pics of your raptor and not only does it have power but it looks like it handles good too because that is one nice suspension setup on that.
