rear 250 r shock

i heard rumors that i could put a 250 r shock on my blaster in the rear....would it be worth it, because i can get one for free....

I think only the 86 one will work, this is just what I heard, it will have to be a remote reservoir to fit, and I guess the 86 had that???!?!! Not sure but thats what I heard.
