Does anyone have any suggestions on ways to lower the rear of a 400ex. I am looking to lower it for ice racing, so it doesnt have to be a set up that is going to be jumped or anything. I know i could buy a lowering kit for the rear, but i have spent enough in getting it set up for the ice already and was wondering if there are any cheap ways to lower it... thanks in advance

I built my own lowering strut for flat track, it works great, just used some urethane bushings in it instead of bearings like the stock dogbone.

i used a rachet strap for about 3 racing before my rear strut came for my 400 when i started flat track racing it was kinda shaddy but it worked

The GT Thunder linkage lowers the rear about 2" and corrects the rear end from throwing you over the bars too.
