cam chain

i know this topic is beat to death, but general concensus still on the crf450 cam chain? is the crf chain as study as the aftermarket ones made for the ex. sure is a big price diff. $30> $90.
have my 440 opened up right now. don't know whether or not an aftermarket chain was installed three years ago when this 440 was first built. so if figured i might as well throw a new heavy duty chain in right away.

you can tell if the chain in there now is a heavy duty because it will be a little thicker looking than the stocker, and yes the 450 chain is basicaly the same as the aftermarket heavy duty 400 chain but cost a lot less.

thanks mojoe, only problem is that i don't know how thick the stock unit is. don't have one for comparison...

for the $30 it will cost, i'll probably just order one from service honda tomorrow.
