i am not sure if this is where i should post this or not. i am looking for ways to minimize weight on my bike. is there any aluminum parts or something like that i could add in replacement of stock parts? i know like lightening the flywheel and stuff like that matters but everytime i add aftermarket shocks or swingarm i am just adding weight. maybe it isn't even worth taking into consideration but i figured i would ask. i am only 150 so i don't really need to go on a diet. :D

a kick start kit. once u take that battery and a few other things outa there itll be lighter. also like aluminum shifter and break lever. i dont think trimming your fenders would save that much weight but you could try it.

wow what a plethora of usefull information

the only things i can think of right now are...

-renthal bars are somewhat lighter
-run stock front bumper (or lighter one)
-i'm not sure about tires but don't get holeshot hd's lol maybe someone makes lighter than stock ones?
-aluminum whatever you can find at rockymountianatv.com

if your a duner than you could loose your nerfs and skidplates, too.

stuff like that, i guess

for tires i am looking at the holeshot mx's. but in the 19's. i don't know how tall they sit compared to 20's though. i really don't want shorter than stock, but these aftermarket 19's may sit as tall as the stock 20's.

nosliw, if you have a 400ex you can run a 450r front bumper, its like a fraction of the weight, and it looks way better, I picked mine up for $25 shipped..........

buy an aluminum subframe, thatll save you a few pounds, and the kickstart is a great idea, the only problem is its not to great if you stall in a moto.

i woudl consider the kick if it wasn't so expensive to convert. i don't know if a subframe would be any better on price.
