which 400?

What is the top speed of the 400ex, and z400. and if u could choose wut would u buy. which handles better?

I think the EX handles better but most would say the Z is a little faster. I found them quite simular in performance myself.

everyone says they handle just about the same and that a z400 is just a tad bit faster than the 400ex. id buy the z over the ex because the old ones dont have reverse, which i like reverse alot, and the new ones, well i just dont like how they look that much. plus i love how the z400 looks and it is supposed to have great reliability, along with the ex.

Go with the Z-400, its the best in it's class right now. If they could get some power out of the 05 honda 400 it might be worth looking at, but until then the Z is the way to go!

a z will out perform a ex. but a ex is way more reliable and will out last a z.

I have to agree, Honda makes the most reliable atv's out there.

I would agree Honda is more reliable, after owning a 1996 CBR600F3, 1995 300ex, 2002 300ex and a Honda self propelled mulching mower that is over 10 years old and all the upkeep I ever did was change the oil as required my Honda's have never given me any problems.

Now thats great customer service when you don't have to keep going back and fourth to the dealership for repairs as I had to do so many times with my Kawi-Mojave.

To each there own, but Honda sells its self through its reputation, enough said.
