Bar Question?

I want to get new tags for my bike but need to know what I need to make this work. HELP please!!

it all depends on what tags you want.... X5 or T2?

X5's are a 7/8" bar (stock clamp works fine). T2's are 1 1/8" bars and you will need an aftermarket clamp for these bars.......also the T2's are more expensive as a bar, then you add the price of a clamp......Look at www.rockymountainatv.com for the T2 bar and clamp combos, they have reasonable prices.

I have heard of people using a 1 inch spacer to keep the ergonomics right. What is that all about?

If you run an MX (dirtbike) bend bar you may need a riser or extended stem to bring the bars up to the height you are used to, or you can order an ATV bend bar that will be similar to a stock height. The ATV bend bars usually have alot more pullback and are comfortable for trail riding and everday use. The MX style bars are usually lower and more forward for a more aggressive riding style (like racing). I run a Tag CR high bend with a +1.25 extended steering stem for motocross racing. If you are not racing and you just want to replace the cheap stock bars, order a 400EX or 250R bend bar.
