What is the 300ex stock speed. What has everybody put on theres and how much did the speed increase.

stock will do about 58 MPH

57-62 depending on weight and how much wind there is. :)

no offence bulkdriverlp but dont you think its time for a 400ex or maybe even a 450r and im a pretty big guy to but my 300 does just fine with me.

My 300ex has a really slow top end but really quick gears... i dunno why ive counted the sprockets they are both stock. my brother has a 300ex when we race i beat him outta the hole but then he catches up and beats me everytime.

didnt have the cash for 400 or i would have bought one, got my 300 for 2,900 otd used so had to go that route. i ride mostly 50" tight woods trails anyhow, i could care less how fast i go. i geared down a tooth in the front this year, havent had a chance to try it out, damn snow is too deep, (no offence taken)
