My boyfriend had a Honda 250R four wheeler which was stolen from him a few years ago. It was his baby as I'm sure most of you reading this can imagine. He has a 250R motor still and I was hoping to get him started on building a new one for Christmas. I found a nice 250R frame on e-bay but I was outbid at the last minute. I have since found a 300ex frame but I was wondering if it would be possible to fit the 250R motor in this frame (even if it does take some tweeking.) I really know absolutely nothing about this kind of stuff and am trying to learn as much as I can in what little time I have before Christmas. Can anyone help?!?!?!?! I don't even know the major differences between a 250R and a 300EX. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!

If all he has is just a motor you will need to buy alot more than just a frame. I am sure the motor COULD be put into a 300ex frame but would not suggest it. it would be more work and in the long run probbly end up costing more!

it wont be worth it, the 300ex overall is a lot shorter and wont handle like a 250r would, keep checking around and seeif you find one, or try to find a 400ex, it would be a better match then the 300ex frame.

ive got an extra R frame/roller, but i dout you would be interested.

the frame probably won't hold and you would have bad suspension and handling. fine a 250R frame
