removal of parking brake

on a stock 400ex if i get a new clutch lever what do i do with the two wires mounted on the back of old lever

i just left mine disconnected, taped up and tip tied neatly to the bars,,,,so it only starts in neutral,,,,

Then the other option is to connect the two together so you can start it in gear or neutral, thats how it is stock
