View Full Version : yamaha employee's on strike?

i am fixing to get a new yfz and am waiting for lake hill motors in mississippi to get some blue 2005's... my dad says "there are on back order" which i honestly think is true but today he gave me some junk the dock employee's, i think where the yammy's are shipped in, in cali are on strike..... so i wont be able to get it for awhile.... so think crap or does anyone know?

sounds like a creative dad. truckers will probally be on strike all month and santa will have to put it in the back of his sleigh

My Uncle delivers all the Yamaha orders from Cal to colorado and west of there.
He is working.

well, i guess he wasnt lying.... it sounded pretty real and logical... i was suppose to be getting one so.......

Yamaha logistics sucks. Machines come off the boat in order. If a dealer needs something they will not help you out in getting it faster. The machines for your region I think come into louisiana. Could be wrong. I know that we get brazillian TTR's from that port.

The ports in Cali are backed up w ships waiting to get into port. Sometimes weeks before they can dock, this is affecting everything coming from overseas including PS2's and DS's.
