Anyone ever have their axle lock nut get stuck? Mine is backed about 1/2-3/4" off the rotor and will not move. I am afaid to turn it too hard and strip it. Any ideas how to get it loose?

I forgot to add that you want the nut to turn TOWARD the rotor if you want to take it off. ONce it goes over enought toward the rotor you'll see the clip that has to be removed so that the entire axle nut assy. will slide off.

I agree, GET RID OF THAT STOCK AXLE NUT!!!!!!!! Who cares if you ruin it taking it off, it belongs in the garbage. Get the biggest damn pipe wrench you can find, a long pole to fit on the end of it and someone to sit on your quad and hold the brakes. Then find a couple fools to help you crank that nut off!! Rico is offering a hell of a deal on that axle nut, you should really take advantage fast man... That nut uses a pinch bolt which will save you about 1000 headaches from here on out every time you need to work on your rear end...

I bought a RAD-LOC axle nut and it is great. I got mad at my stock 1 for coming loose all the time and being a pain in the @$$. This 1 hasnt come loose yet and ive had it for about 5 months.
