i was wondering if anyone here went to/ raced at this event. i was there on a red 400ex #08. i ran the open beg. class and didn't make the main b/c of stupid mistakes. first off, i should have raced the c class, b/c i was pretty much the only one in my class jumping everything. it just kills me to see all of these pimped out yfz's and 450r's rolling the jumps. i got a bad start on my heat and ended up in the lead on the last lap, until i went wide and got tangled up w/ the second place guy when i couldn't stop after the straight. even worse, in the lcq i friggin pulled the holeshot against 4 yfz's and couldn't stop in time for the turn. i found out that one of the bolts that holds the brake piston on came out, so when i hit the brake it just pivoted the piston, so i didn't have rear brakes!!! i also found out how crappy my bike corners in the indoor w/ a stock axle and 20 in tamers!! but i'm gonna try and get some wheels and tires b4 the next race. Oh well, **** happens, guess i'll just have to wait till the next murray race in February

Why don't you come up to Greenville this weekend. It's not that far from Murray.

i'd like to, but i'm gonna wait till i get tires b4 i race another indoor. it was awful with the 20s. i raced at 800 sx last year on my 300ex, that was a sweet track. but it's like 1.5 - 2 hrs away, so i don't know. are there going to be any more races up there this winter?

You should run at DuQuoin IL, its that same series. The new arena is huge! The first race there was over 500 riders signed in and 120 races scheduled.

i'm gonna try and go w/ my uncle next time. when is it? What is the general layout of the track, ie. big jumps, smaller ones, big/small whoops.

Heres my MSN paint version of the track LOL
It was whoops, one large triple, and a few sets of doubles. It was really a perfect setup for quads
