its getting the full treatment, im doing a project quad for my site, 450r.net (http://www.450r.net)

and im going to put it in the exriders quad builder competition its going to be an xc quad, i got alot going on colby is building my motor ships out tomorrow, cant wait to get it all finished!:devil:

Your sites home page looks great. Needs some info but the site looks like it'll be really neet.

yeah it got put out befor ei planned i got several articles going on this saturday, its a start, anyway on the mods a-arms shocks built motor hipers mostly the usual but i got a few different mods that i will show in the build off, im hoping to have it done by then and i dont see any problems everything was scheduled in advance

Tearing down the 450 is actually kinda fun isnt it. You took alot more pics then me, ill have to bookmark your site if i need help remembering anything when i get my frame back.

How Long did it take you to tear down the Quad all together? Looks like it could be done fairly easily in a day or two if ya stayed on it and didnt drink too many beers lol... :D Its gotta be a little sickening ending up with a bunch of boxes full of parts when you started with an almost new Quad :eek2: but I ma sure it will be worth it in the end...

as far as auctual working we started at about 930 and by 1 we was finished and taking our time the only thing that wasnt finished was taking the axle out of the swingarm, the impact we had was a weak one and would not break the nut at the end of the axle loose so i took it the next day over to a friend's shop and he loosened it for me, we even crated the motor and got almost everything boxed and wrapped ready to ship that day as well

im getting gusset and pc, along with some other goodies for winter project, can ride the 400 till 450r is back, but right now its sitting is the basement layed out in piece exactly who it came off the bike, and the only thing left in the frame is the motor, taking it out tommorw
