i have a 38 tooth rear sprocket. what tooth should i run to get some more low end? i have a 14 tooth in front and i dont really want to change it to a 13. btw i have a 400ex and it has barly any low end. IT'S NUTS!!!

my quad is pretty stock(see signature) but i have a 14t front sprocket and i have no prob with the low end.are you sure that your quads motor and tranny is sitll healthy?

I have a stock 400ex and i also have the 14 tooth front sprocket. Now when i hit the throttle the front end goes skyward! I dont know what to tell ya!

mine comes up bad to but its not stock. Zeke you should have more low then you can take with that 14t. i put a 39 with a my 14t on one time it will give you a good bit more low end it takes a lil top end to:) i say if you dont have a lot of low end your motor and tranny is not to healthy.

To get more low end you want to go up 1 or 2 teeth in the rear... Keep in mind that going down one in the front is like going up 3 in the rear... Youre gonna kill the top end on your bike pretty bad though...

I have a 14T and the top end is fine for woods,don't know about dunes.
