the last time i checked,spongebob was a cartoon for kids to watch. a cool person such as yourself might not like him but my kids love him and that's all that matters to me. i don't like all of the cartoons from today compared to the ones from when i was a kid but it will be a pretty pathetic point in my life if i feel the need to come here and pi#s and moan about how stupid i think a cartoon is:rolleyes:

I honestly do not watch cartoons and such when I have a choice. That being said, I think something interesting is happening with childrens entertainment. 10 years ago Barney ruled the world of every little kid on the face of the earth, and parents had no choice but to deal with it. Barney's show is the most horrible thing any intelligent being could be subjected to. Same with most of the movie length cartoons. But now with shows like spongebob, and movie length "computerized" cartoons like shrek at least adults aren't left drooling when there over. The people who make these shows for kids are starting to figure out that they can fit in some jokes that are funny to adults (that little kids wouldn't get at all) while keeping all the slapstick stuff to make the kids laugh. Again, I am not a fan of spongebob but I have to say it's much better than watching the big fat purple dinosaur try to convice us he's not gay.
