Swithching the rims around

Would it hurt n e thing to switch the front rims around? Like put the left one on the right, and right one on the left. It move the center out a little more and make it more stable in turns. My friend did it to his blaster and he said he liked it.

I think the Valve Stems get Hit by the Brake Calper. If I am thinking this Right, I remember Guys saying the Valve Stems get Broke Off.
