im building a crf450 hybrid quad and was wondering if anyone else has done this using a twist throttle?i have the crf450 dirt bike carb twist throttle housing and cable, but didnt get my chassis yet and im not sure if the dirtbike cable will reach on the quad.anyone know how to make it work?>
also someone else who built a walsh crf450(which is what im building) said that i need to get the strainer assembly(the part that gets bolted to the fuel tank and then attached to the petcock via the fuel line)cut and rewelded because it wont fit due to clearance problem.anyone know about this issue as well?

any help is appreciated.

ive seen several twists on 450r's and hybrids if you need a custom cable built get with
baldwin motorsports (http://www.baldwinmotorsports.com)
they built me a custom hot start cable for a stock 450r carb to go with a crf450r perch and lever
hope that helped

yes the stock CRF450 cables and twist throttle. I use the CRF450 carb on my TRX also so I use the twist off the dirt bike on it also.
