400ex valve cover bolts....

what size are the bolts that go in the valve cover and side covers....not the head size but the actually dia. of the bolt...is it 8mm?

-I need to know because a few are stripped and I need to tab and install helicoils

I'm pretty sure there 6mm. Those threads like to pull out.

Do you know where I can find a Helicoil kit online...the only ones I can find that are metric seem to be course threads.

Im not really sure but there should be some on ebay. I usually just get them from my motor builder.
