450R silencer on a 400

I have heard that you can put a 450 silencer on a 400EX. can this be done? If so, how much modification is required?

what would be the point, besides the look? You probably wont get any power gains out of it, and if you do, it would be minimal. You're better off with an aftermarket part engineered to fit your machine.:)
