Quick YFZ Question .

Does anyone know if it would be alright to run a kickstart setup on the YFZ and still keep the electric start as the primary method to start the quad?? Kind of like only using the kickstarter as a backup incase my battery fails 30 miles in the woods with no one and not a hill in sight . :confused:

well i'm not sure if there is a shaft already but if there is i would say throw one on should work...most ppl just tak the electric start off when they get a kicker to save on weight

i have also been told that on a yfz the only thing the battery runs is the lights and the starter.. so should have spark when you kick it over .... cus like a car if battery is dead and your alt is bad and you got it running it would not run good if at all cus it needs alt atleast to run...for spark..
