400ex Holiday Porting Special

I have some Race Ported 400ex heads that look great! They have been beadblasted and reassembled with new valve seals, exhaust studs, and crush gaskets. Race Porting all around with max Mid-Top end Power. I usually sell these for $340 on Ebay but the Holidays have ppl watching cash flow. I will sell for $150 PLUS trade for your good stocker. Your head doesnt have to look great but needs to be complete and no grooving on cam journals. I have 3 of these heads ready to install; all are identical. All you will need to buy is a new head gasket. Send PM for more info.

bump. Mike is a great guy to deal with, I got a head from him and didnt even see it, it was more for a customer, the guy I hooked up has had TC racing port his stuff, etc... before and he said the one I sent him looked pretty good.

aight, im going to talk to my dad, its his quad and he has to have one to sell it. im sure you dont want my head though lol, 2 dropped vavles and the combustion chamber is pretty messed up.

ya you were selling them for like 240 or something, Wish i would have snatched one up then. Do i have to send my head first? or are u going to send your head first, Not sure if i want the down time. But i am interested

Yes, at one time I could buy stock heads for $100 but now they are hardb to get for less than $170 stock. I wasent making any money at $240 with head purchase, Porting, and new parts.

I would need the stock head and cash up front before I send mine out. That is the only way I can verify head's ok. I will ship the Ported head the next day after pay/stocker are recieved; UPS delivers fast. I have hundreds of Positive feedback on Ebay so be assured I will hold my end of bargain up. I wouldnt risk my business over a few hundred dollars:macho

its not a trust issue its the down time of riding thats holding me back

down time isnt a biggie,you ship money order and head overnite ,mike gets it and ships the other head overnite your down for 2 days...overnite wouldnt be that much for a cylinder head:D

Yes, that's correct. You couldnt hardly get your stock head rebuilt fot that at most shops. Average price just for beadblasting is $45 for a head. $150 is half of just Porting costs at the Big shops. This deal wont last forever. When Spring approaches prices on my race Ported heads will again be $340 and up. Bidding last month on one of mine went up to $365 plus shipping. **Be sure your stocker is good. If a broken/damaged head is sent I will send it back minus shipping. I am very interested in this, do you still have any for trade/sale? I am currently rebuilding my 400 so I took the head off and cleaned it real good, lapped the valves, and bought new exhaust studs but haven't recieved them yet. If you still have one I might have to buy an early christmas present for myself...

I still have two unspoken for. Would need to do trade plus cash. If you want I can just have your stocker Ported and send IT back to you for same price. Turnaround is usually less than 2 weeks from time I get the head till I can ship back.

450R, 300ex, Warrior, Raptor,etc . He has done them all. I personally do NO porting. I do cleaning, beadblasting, and installing valves,springs,etc. Price on 450R head is same as 400ex--$150.

The WEB valves and springs would be CONSIDERABLY cheaper than new from Honda and would perform better. I will get some prices tommorow from the shop and send you a pm.

Yes, if you buy springs/valves I will put in for same price. All of it has to be removed anyway to do Porting so it doesnt take any more time. Unless you buy/supply new valves and springs used OEM will be installed. Thanks-
