450R flywheel puller

This picture is to help ppl see that you should not try to buy a "450R" flywheel puller on ebay without realizing that they don't work on a trx. The "450R' flywheel puller they sent me was for a crf. I tried to purchase the "450R" flywheel puller on ebay for $15 months back before there was other options like Trailtech (they are out of stock) and this is what I got. Anyway, I bought my trx puller from honda for $60 (ouch) cause I needed it to tear down my motor to send my crank out for stroking,...

Contact your local honda dealer he should be able to order one for you or take your quad there and ask them to pull it off for you we here at mikes charge $5 to pull a flywheel i will have to go look in the shop manuals to see if they give different part # for the crf and trx..................Chris

honda's puller is $70. Trail Tech has their new aftermarket ones in stock i think they run aroung 20 or something

we are removing flywheels to replace them with either a heavier one or a lighter one depending on what type of riding you do.

Thanks for that info dn1911! What is the average price for lightening of the flywheel and getting it balanced?

i don't now aout having it lightened? but Trail Tech sells direct replacement -4 ounce ones for about $120. if you want light then that is the way to go. they have the absolute best service, just ask for Jen and tell her Dustin sent you.
