all this linkage talk is so confusing can someone help mee

aight, im so confused about all this stuff.. aight, if you get a +1.25 swingarm and an Elka rear shock, can you also get the Elka linkage? or if you get the extended swingarm arm, will it make a much bigger difference if u leave the stock linkage on? please someone with some knowledge answer this for me. :)

Yes use the linkage if the swingarm manufacturer does not offer one.
