z400 carb?

Can this carb be put on a 400ex, because they are bigger arent they?

and does anyone know the # to rocky ridge?

the z400 carb sucks compared to the 400ex's. in fact a lot of people swap their z400 carbs out for EX carbs. if you switch to the Z carb on the EX youd be downgrading.

for real, i thought that was why the z400 was faster...because of the carb?

the z400 has a vaccum operated slide which hence equals it blows cause you have that slight hesitation

I don't think the Z400 is faster than the 400EX..maybe if the Z400 wasnt stock.

When i had my airbox lid on, with the 6 holes drilled in it, and i went up a main jet size with my K&N Filter, i was dead even with a stock z400

they are faster. they revv higher, too. but i've found that my ex is a lot quicker than my friends z400. and since i don't do any high speed racing or anything, my ex is perfect

I hate to tell you people, but the z id definitely faster than the ex,PERIOD! And yes the z carb sucks. And the z is also way more responsive to mods than the ex. I own BOTH BIKES so I do know what Im talking about.
