I was just wandering what you guys use for locks on you quads?

I have a Gorila alarms on mine but it's made for a motorbike and it can't handle the pounding of a quad. And it breaks down all the time.

Does anybody use any other alarm? Or chain lock?

Please post pics of your set up

thanks

heres a pic of my set up. not sure how well you can see it, but all it is, is a wire on a chain that wraps around my frame, and then connects to a little plug in the wall. when the wire is cut, or pulled, or just messed with, my house alarm will beep 6 times to let me know that its being disconected, or tampered with.(like a door charm) so if i am sitting in my house, and it beeps, i know someone is out there screwing with it. when my house alarm is on, if the wire is pulled, disconected, or tampered with, the whole alarm goes off, and the cops come. i also keep my quad chained up with a huge chain and lock.

it works just like the alarms hotels put on tvs and such, so that way they know if someone is taking a TV or phone etc with them

The wire setup would be a great idea but I don't have a house alarm.

and as for the 400lb door that would be great but ehh how do you get your quad out if your alone????:huh
