White Brother's E-Series pro-meg silencer, K&N air filter+precharger, slitfire spark plug, and a jet kit for the carb.
this is like $550. ....this gives the 300 a very nice sound, anything's better than that wussy sound it makes.... also gives it so much more usable power.

then a 14tooth front sproket ($22) adds like 2mph+

save for some suspension from Works or Elka

so WB pipe and K&N power kit, and 14 tooth front sprocket, FST 330 kit, and i guess new tires? what does the spitfire spark plug do, that better then the others?
sounds good?

the splitfire plug makes the gas burn more cleanly.
if you get the 330 kit get the FST one with a cam, though i would hold off on this until you get bored with the pipe, filter, sprocket etc.

400EX A-arms, shocks and tie rods, pm countypark and ask about his mount system, it costs like $125 and you could the a-arms, shocks and tie rods here in the classified section or on ebay for around $200. You can always upgrade the shocks also, you get a pair of Elkas for a 400EX and put them on your 300 with the mount kit and a-arms. Get a good pair of handlebars like Renthals and go to your Honda dealer and order a "87' 250X Ignition holder" to relocate where your key is. Get a good pipe, WB like the other guys was saying is good, and rejet the carb of course. You can also remove the chock from your carb, its an easy process, just do a search for removing the choke. To go along with your new front suspension set up, you could get a Lonestar Axcalibur axle and new rear shock of your choice. You could get a 330Kit from Four Stroke Tech, and have them port and polish your head, get heavy duty valve springs and titanium retainers and you may need to also hard face your rocker arms, and White brothers cam, race cut your fenders if you want, i duno, other misc. stuff. Sorry its so long, i just had to let it all out, lol, that would be one **** of a 300ex right here... later man
