a disc lock. essentially locks the rear tires.

lets get a pic of this thing. sounds like a great idea, at first i thought it was a master lock but instead of pads it had discs but i understand the conecpt of it now.

this is the kryptonite version thats currently on recall(people could pop it open with a ball point pen) :o

essentially it hooks to your disk, on mine it bumps the skidplate and after that smacks into the calliper. making theft much more of a pita

could you imagine stealing one in a hurry while needing to lift the *** end to move every few feet?
