where is my electrical ground?

my bike wont start....i have to shake it for it to kick the starter (my bike is a fisrt poke start) and i can start it sometimes wen im shaken it...i think its my ground but i cant find it its a 01 raptor 660r any help would rock

ummmmm on ur battery their is positive and negative terminals follow the line comming off the negative and it leads u to your frame clean off both of the connection on each side of the line
