400ex big bore?

Hi, Iam a new member of www.exriders.com and this is my first post. Iam looking forward to giving and recieving great advise. Honda riders gotta stick together lol. Well anyway iam about to change my 3 month old stock 400ex into a bad bad machine..lol........well its time for the big bore.......i would like to hear any stories anyone has about there big bores.....the 406, 416 and 440 anyway..........i was talkin with a guy in oklahoma that can put me together a fast bike pretty cheap.......he said he has made some fast 406's and that is maybe the bore iam lookin into the most........i would just like to hear about other peoples expieriences with this bore........thx alot guys :)

I would also like to hear about those kits. I don't klnow much about them...but am interested in boring my engine later on.

Any big bore kit with all the trimmings, will rock. 440 and up is maybe a little more for the dunes and drag racing. A smaller bore for mx, and trail riding.
If you do do it, get a sweet cam, for me it was bigger the better.
Easy to do the work yourself, and certainly save a few bucks in the process.
