Hi guys,
Is there a problem storing the 450R front wheels up,
sitting on the rear wheels and the rear grab bar ???
I drained the float bowl.

Thanks

What the hell would you want to store the sweet 450 for? The only excuse we will tolerate is if you are going to Irac. If you are good luck, if not then lets ride! :D

450 Racer R,

Seriously though guys,
It's a space issue.

Greg, if it is a space issue, maybe try taking off the tires and put the quad up on supports like a bucket or something, then you could maybe fit some things under it

drain the oil too, and maybe the coolant. I don't think the coolant would be a problem but it'd be a safe measure to take. I've stored mine like that overnight with no problem. But the oil could run up through the cylinder and into your carb and airbox. Other than that it should be fine on the grab bar.

do it
do it

never a problem

the coolant system can run under 15 psi. its not gonna leak cause it on its side. the cylinder is still the highest point on the motor even when upright so no oil will leak past piston. the crank and tranny oil are sealed away from each other. just run it out of fuel and drain the bowl. when you take it down just check yuor fluids but dont forget they dont read until it has been run a couple minutes

We put our 2 400ex's and our 450r behind them standing up in our garage. Never had a problem.
