Ya i think he did . He mentioned earlier this year , all he wanted to do was beat the record for the most won on a TV show ... which before him was the guy from Who Wants To Be A Millionaire .

I bet he got tired of playing an whoppin everyones ***** all the time. Hell I'd quit to if I had over 2 Million. I'd just invest 1 mil and spend the rest

Why would you quit making almost 30,000 dollars anight on average? You wouldn't. He either lost it legittely (doubtful) or threw it, i think he threw it, ill bet that sneaky trebeck was behind it too, that *******....

i would have quit my day job and made jeopardy my career. I think he quit on purpose. He probably was sick of the publicity.

JEOPARDY, duh, he was on for like 75 days straight and holds the record for most money won on a television show, 2.5 mil

I bet he threw it also.....He probably got a nice chunk of change to do it.

Does anybody know when the show was actually filmed? Was it recent? It's weird because a friend of mine told me that Jennings will lose after his 74th win.....but that was like 6 months ago??????

He might have, but if you are that smart and unstoppable, why wouldn't you keep winning? That is easy money. Beats a day at the office anyday, plus the pay is way better.

I think he blew it ya could easily live off a 2.5 million and I doubt anyone can beat his record so he's a legend. His family was probably telling him to come home and the most important is

I EVEN KNEW THE ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION AND I'M NOT GOOD AT TRIVIA!:huh

They film all those shows in advance. A radio station around the D.C. area somehow got a recording of the final question and aired it the morning of. I think they film a few shows a day, so he really wasn't gone for that long a time. 2.5 million really isn't all that much after taxes takes it's 40%. If he threw it he is a moron. That was some easy money.

Does anybody have an idea of when that show was actually taped? Like I said, a friend here at work told me that he was going to lose after his 74th win, but he said that like 6 months ago....kinda freaky.

And yes...maybe he did lose fair and square...I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later. Everybody has a bad day I suppose.

i think the producers were behind it. he probably got a nice chunk of change to throw it. its not good tv or good for the show having some dude constantly win all the time. kinda like rc in supercross....gets old after a while

plus, after 74 days on the show, they could figure out what his strong and weak points were. I have a feeling someone was behind it, rather they paid him off, told the competition the answers, or "selected" a few random questions ol kenny might not know.

Im sure he threw it. With the amount of crap he knew in the past what.. 75 episodes and he can't get this question? There was probably some behind the scenes deal but I give him credit. He was probably getting tired of everything. I'd say 2.5 million dollars is a lot even after taxes..

it was indeed thrown. the producers planned on ken losing right after the november ratings sweeps were over with. i saw this on extra last night. if he doesnt conserve his money well he prob will lose it all quick as taxes will take a huge chunk of it and then he is donating 10% of it to the morman church. however hes got an agent now and hes currently in talks to be a pitchman for some company...so he could have a nice chunk of change for a while.
