Hows the top end on the sparks pipe? Better then stock? and whats the big deal bout the stainless steel?

I have heard from a reliable source that the sparks ceramics are having alot of problems. So if you do go sparks DO NOT get the ceramic.

If you want a stainless sparks for a good price I will give you mine for $325 dollars shipped. It has no dents or bends, the only thing is it has a little melted rubber on the headpipe but that can be scrapped off when hot.;) Trust me, you won't be dissapointed.

I have a stainless exhaust and polished it up to a chrome-like finish. Turns a gold color after awhile but looks good. Does take a little work to polish. I used mothers aluminum polish. You can also get a ceramic coated STAINLESS pipe from sparks that holds up better than regular steel coated. I think it's an extra $40 or $50. Also for $30 with a new pipe, you can get big-core option that has about 1/4" bigger outlet and is louder.

i run the sparks big core, i love it, awsome pipe, good pull all the way to the top :macho

That is why the Sparks pipe only comes in Stainless Steel Ceramic instead of the mild steel ceramic!

Unless you just want plain Stainless Steel and no Ceramic..

sparks pipes that are ceramic coated and not stainless steel are junk. we have been there once and will never go back...

maybe not on the 450r, i don't know. on a 400ex, they are junk. they made decent power but rusted way too much unless you like to polish and wax them frequently.

Yours is probably ceramic over stainless if you have had it for awhile and no problems.
