do a search, there have been several threads about them. Seems to be pretty good overall, just 2x's as much as a normal exhaust.

They are a great exhaust if you live in an area where sound levels are an issue. I believe they are the quietest exhast on the market (other than stock). The performance gains aren't a whole lot compared to other exhaust systems like hmf, lrd, fmf, but they are still better than stock. Do a search on here for them, there was a thread not to long ago about this.

They are very good systems, even if one mag has to throw insults, and incorrectly test it. The LTE system is lighter than the stock setup, and makes good power at a lower noise level, 92ish on the 400ex. On side by side comparisons the LTE system is equil to more power gains than other big name systems.

the dyno i saw on a 400ex it produced greater than 5 horsepower over stock. this was on a stock 400ex. on the yfz, it produced 12 more than stock. :eek2:

I find that hard to believe if that's only exhaust. :ermm:

Sometimes "only exhaust" isn't. There was a big exhaust shootout in Dirtwheels several months back, and they followed the manufacturer's recommendations exactly.

Now, the problem was, some manufacterers specify to change the muffler, and then gave recommended jetting. Some specify to change the muffler, remove the airbox lid, and then gave jetting. I think a few of them even went so far as to specify an aftermarket air filter, muffler, remove the airbox lid, and then gave jetting.

Duh, who do you think gave the most horsepower gains?

Even with all that, do you think it would still give 10 hp to the yfz???

On a YFZ, I think it's believable. It sounds high, but not completely out of the realm of possibility. The factory corks them up pretty good on both ends, so allowing it to breathe better makes a big difference.

I certainly wouldn't believe 10hp on a 400EX.

i thought you were going to get a HMF...but dirtwheels say they take forever to install, you have to buy the full system, and it is pretty expensive.

I got mine last December and couldn't be happier. I've tried several other systems and this one is the best overall IMO. Is it the best? I can't make that claim, but it is mellow sounding and produces great torque and good hp on my dune machine.
There are some pictures floating around in the body section. Just do a search for mrbluehair.

The whole purpose of the LTE is the entire system. It converts the standard system to a true dual exhaust.. Yes, it is expensive but considering what you get it really isn't, two headers, two scilencers and and aluminum airbox.

You just have to buy everything at once instead of piecing things together like most of us have to do.

Loudness is an issue for for many riders these days and this is an option to have some power gains without as much added noise.
