Je 12:1 hot cams stage II

I am having some troubles with my cam and piston. The intake vlaves are hitting the piston. Ok no problem i started to machine the pockets on the piston a little bit maybe .050" The valves still hit. I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem and if so could tell me how they overcame it. I might have to get the stage I hotcams but i really don't want to. Any help would be great.

Rob I have never heard anything like this happening. Something must be wrong.

is the cam installed right? Maybe the timing's off... I don't know too much, but shouldn't the intake valve be open while the piston's on it's way down?

It is hitting the piston when they start to open. Because the lift is so high on the cam the valves start to open earlier than stock. So actually it is hitting when the piston is going down. If i retard the timing one tooth it doesn't hit, but if i ran it like that that would defeat the purpose of the cam. I don't know I just don't want to ruining the piston.
