Alright I don't know if this is true or not , but my buddy told me the other day that he read in the new addition of ATV Sport Magazine , that Gust will not be riding for Suzuki next year and that he has made the switch to Yamaha .

Does anyone know the truth about this????

I didnt think yamaha was going to sponsor an mx rider this year. i'd think Kory Ellis would be their first rider...

LOL .... I was told this before all the pain killers . ;) I just wanted to know if there was any truth behind this rumor . I have no way of getting my *** over to the corner store to pick up the magazine so I figured atleast one person on this forum would have the mag . :p

they should of steped up and sponsored john natalie before his team made the switch to the honda and honda should pick up joe byrd with farr and have better track presence all I can say is the support will never be up with the bikes becuz look how much honda does for anybody besides Farr and the lastest atv sales figures was the 450r the best selling quad of the last few months why should they put money into the sport when they are selling quads anyway thas why i wont buy one. I will stick to my z400 until the z450 comes out

i think someone needs to pick up a women's rider...just the PR alone they will get from sponsoring and promoting a woman will bring in a lot of money and publicity. I think Honda needs to pick up another rider or two to match suzuki, and Joe&Heather Byrd would be a really good pick. Plus, they're from Tennessee- how could you go wrong with good 'ol TN (except for Al Gore)?

The factories need to get into GNCC as well, especially now that Kawasaki packed up and left. Hopefully they'll return when their 450 Comes out...

These would be some sweet factory teams:

Suzuki: Gust, Jones, Yokely, Parton

Yamaha: Ellis, Little, Ballance, Creech

Honda: Farr, Byrd, Derisi, Rice, PAPPY!

Kawasaki: Penland, Schell, nobody else rides the darn things

ATK: Our one and only Jeff Stoess

Other people who should be up there:
Tavis Cain, John Natalie, Chris Borich, Angela Moore, Traci Cecco

borich should be hondas first pick up what about kilby and Henke who rode for Kawasaki

oh ya and you forgot or own man Harlen

this is suzukis team
Suzuki-Gust,Yokley,Jones,Foley

look compared to the others
Honda-Farr
Yamaha-Ballance
Atk-Jeff
Polaris-Smiley

i think some others should step up also heard rumors several amatuers will be riding for suzuki
and a lil quad manufactuer cant remember the name is goin to have parts for free at the races

correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't suzuki own or have a big part of kawasaki? I can see why kawasaki pulled their teams if this is true. Why pay two teams when you can focus on one big team!
Anyone know if that is close???

they are separate companies they just shared information on past quads to help them both out but i think this may be over with seeing that they both came out with different utility quads

hey bush didnt want to make you feel like a retard just was letting you know does anyone know exactly if Smiley is factory backed Polaris next year I heard rumors it was true and know he raced the Troy Lee version up at a district 6 race all I can see is I have a new respect for polaris if this is true looks like honda needs to step up to the plate for the GNCCs
