400ex MX ride height???

im wondering what everyones opinions are on ride heights for mx racing on the 400ex. im running houser plus 2's and triple rate shocks 18 inch rear tires and 20 inch front tires. maybe if a couple people could measure their own bike that would be appreciated

measure it from the back side of the aarm where it meets the frame and make sure your sitting on the quad

Set the frame at 1/4" lower in the rear

ive read the sweet spot is between 7 1/2 and 8 inches but i dunno

What shocks are you running? Call them and ask them what the preferred ride height is.:D

You supposed to be about 7 1/2" off the ground and level. You can run the rear a tad lower for higher speeds I believe. Never run the rear higher though, ever.
