im pretty sure i can't run my stock 400ex throttle cable on my FCR 39mm..am i right? if so what cable should i get? yfz 450?

Hit up Colby at C&D Racing. They've got 'em for the FCR on 400ex.;)

i don't think the stock one works, but i have never tried it. i run the yfz cable. it fit perfect. watch some of the cables. the one i got with my carb was about a foot too long and there was excess cable up by my handlebars.

Yep I had the same thing. But the YFZ worked fine too. Like $14 from the stealer.

I also had the same problem Cal is referring to as far as cable length... The YFZ cable Im running now is perfect, and its cheap so I would reccomend it for sure...

We have switch to using the new TRX450 throttle cable it works perfect:D

well thanks for the replies..looks like ill be ordering a yfz throttle cable today!
