Badland IN

ON a scale of 1-10 what do u rate badlands is it fun or ok I think is about a 7:confused:

It depends if there are huge water holes everywhere or not and how many people are up there. I'd probably give it a 7 also maybe a 8 on a good day.

When comparing it, everyone's comparision is only as good as the places they have been. Most of us that have been to H/M know that places is probably a 10. Seeing that the badlands is 1/3 the size or less, I would say its a 6 or 7.

But if I got to just ride it for one day I would rate it a 8 or 9. You can pretty much ride the entrie place in a day.

Where as H/M would take a month to ride all the trails, especially all the non marked trails.

Hey i live in west point and i was thinking about a weekend ride we can pich tents at my house and ride friday and saturday im only five min from the place so if any one wants to do that we can just let me know when.:devil:

I'd give it a 5 mostly because i get bored after about an hour there, and seconding cause they charge a fortune and dont maintain the trails at allheck they make em worse by logging the place. it used to be a really decent place to ride about 6 or 7 years ago, just stating my opinion, no flaming please :blah:

hey man i agree with you there it seems the only thing right now that they care about is the rock crawing and off roading them trucks but it ok for you first time there i couldnt go they all the time because it would just suck.:rolleyes:

I give it about a 6- or 7, I have only been there once. But when i was there, the woods had alot of water sitting in them, But even then they looked like alot of 4x4 mudholes! Whitch im not a big fan of.
Now i do like there hills!!! They have hill climbs for everyone, Just at the tops of all the hills there seems to be fences, About 10-15 feet past the tops of the hills! If i go back, ill will be over by the camp sights climbing those hills, I want to climb all of them! Last time i only climbed about 8 of them on that side!

i would give it a 5 ..i agree it gets boring aftr an hour...But i really did like haspin acres i woulg give that place a 9 even 10 its in laurel,IN about 2 hours southeast of badlands! check it out haspinacres.com

Id give it a 2/10 compared to haspin acres. When I was at badlands I saw the same thing probly over 50 times. Unless you have a 2 stroke... plan on putting and sinking in. The only good thing I can say is they have nice hills. No jumps, no dragstrip, no trails.. plus you gotta buy a flag.

haspin acres is a good place to ride! Now they have security people patroling the place to be sure everyone is wearing helments and not being stupid so that has helped a lot. Watch out for trucks and jeeps!!!!

Badlands- 6 or 7... it's fun but it does get old unless ya got a big truck or buggy.
Haspin- 8-9... I duno why I just like this place. You can ride the mx track, in the woods on the xc tracks, the drag strip, and they even got mud. A little bit of everything.

Me, my dad, b/f adam, and a few others are planning on going to Badlands Saturday, Dec. 11 if anyone wants to join.

LittleUgly... you should try out some of the xc racing at Haspin. It's nothing to technical but fun. Plus it's kinda close to ya.

I'm with parkers30. 6or7 years ago it was a nice place to ride. For the money they charge they should maintain it better. I give it a 4.

I liked BadLands.. for a one day ride...nore than that gets a little old... For a first timer I liked it ..I've never rode on the terrain that they had to offer but it was fun.


On a Scale of 1-10 for the first time I'd give it an 7 or 8..Just my $.02

I would be abble to go this sunday sorry i wish i could im doing some tuching up to my quad painting some stuff mabe next time i hope. i am planning a weekend ride like we do at hatfield a friday and saturday ride. i want it to be some time in the spring. i will let you all know we can came at my house we have lots of proprty to camp on.

Bradley usually goes. He don't always get to race b/c he likes to break stuff on the practice lap but he's usually there. lol. Here's the scheduele.

Well we made a trip to Badlands today and it was a blast! It was a little chilly especially with the wind but not to bad. By the end of the day it was definately getting a little old but it was still lots of fun.
