Payed $7,500 for this beast.
I bought it off my friend Randy Thomas. Hes was a pro racer but fractured his foot in middle season last year and is unable to race anymore. Mods in my profile!

I'll try to get some side pics up sometime tomarrow or wednesday! Well I looked at my cycle shop and for a new 450r with tax and extended waranty ect it came out to be around 7,000 bucks and for an extra 500 I get basically the 4,000 dollars worth of mods which are in it pretty good deal if you ask me. I know the owner of the quad and he only did 2 mx races on it very little amounts of other riding on it. With just the hrc kit, sparks exhaust, and k&n filter it gets up and moves like no other quad i've gotten to ride I can't even imagine what all that and a 13.1 piston and porting work would ride like.

Sorry I ment to say the swingarm was +1, my front end is off a 400ex with spacers made to fit the frame standard travel +3 valving is perfect. I run an elka long travel rear shock which works nicely its just alittle on the soft side. Ill be installing my new parts very shortly and cant wait to test it out...I deff didnot mind the price he was asking around 9,000 for it earlyer and seemed pretty firm I just think he wanted it out of his garadge because he couldnot ride it anymore.

How can you possibly be running +3's? unless you have a wierd set of rules or you dont race mx like you said u did, the limit is 50 inches and with +2's im at 49 1/3

This is a 250r a-arm set up with axis shocks they have spacers were the a-arms would mount so it would fit the frame, ill take some pictures soon of the a-arms were you can see how it mounts. I measured the front wheel base is around 49 and the rear is 49.5 I believe.

Hey nice find!!!!! Good bike!!!!

Heres the scoop, the arms are off of Thompson's ole 426 EX......so they are Walsh arms for an EX.... He just adapted them to fit.........He was one of the first to get a 450R and had it all tweaked out the first week...... He used his EX stem also, just had to machine the stem clamp a lil....... Hey Kilabanshee, what happens when u lift up the rear end??? does it have endless travel or is that fixed????? He had an EX swinger and linkage in at first, it fit, it just acted a lil weird when the rear was in the air?????

this was actually the very first 450R I every saw in person!! It was over at East Coast ATV last (03) fall, Jeff and I are both customers of East Coast so we used to run into each other there!

Yeah I bought this quad of Randy Tompson. When I got it the shock it was awesome in the woods and would have been perfect for racing hairescambles like dutchman. I hit a few jumps hitting the face of the jump and even on the landing on the highest compression set up the rear shock was bottoming out really hard. I traded the shock to stealth450r because has running an elka front shock set up with an axis rear. we trades shocks soo we could be running the same suspesion all around. Jay will this 450r rear shock that I got fit on the EX swinger? My cylinder head is out getting ported, and I just got my 13.1 piston in cant wait to see the difference. I was planning on going racing dutchman on the 6th put it seems like I wont have the head back soon enough, o well this is an mx quad anyways.

My head is currently out getting ported. I also decided to add larger valves and hardened valve springs, since mine seemed alittle on the soft side. I'll be sending parts off my motor along with my shifter, clutch, and break lever to get powdercoated
"candy red".
