300ex or raptor 350?

which one is faster in stock form. if the 350 is faster, which would be faster if my 300 had and hmf and removed lid.

They are pretty close. I know a stock warrior is a little faster than a 300ex, and I dont think they changed much for the raptor 350. I'd say with a pipe and air box open the 300 should run right with it if not ahead.

the raptor got a little diet, it lost 15 pounds and got new tires and stiffer suspension.

the best speed is to be lighter.

it also got new tires that dont hook up well according to DW (i know i know, its dirtwheels) the raptor would be faster if it hooked up better

a 300 handles better and its a honda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
give the 300, 50cc more and it will smoke the raptor 350!!

the 300 does handle better, i think there about the same wieght tho, the raptor isnt as heavy as the warrior was.
and your right, a 300ex with 50 more cc (330 kit) will smoke a raptor 350. or better yet, add 80cc (350 kit) and you'll be comparable to 400exs

the raptor has a little more top speed in the str8 stretch but is that all you plan on doing? On the track the ex will dominate. Not to mention the ex is the wheelie king!

gonna ahve to say the good ole 300ex. it's an awesome little quad, that handles better and is more predictable than the raptor 350

Go with the honda it is a much betteer machine and will spin circles around it on a mx track.The raptor may beat the honda in a straight line but thats it.Had one of each and the Honda is the way to go.

actually the hond would be faster. the yammy is a 2 valve head and th honda is a 4 wich will respond better to mods

I'm biased, as I went with the baby raptor, but I love it. It rides totally different from the warriors and has a slightly bigger carb. The front is heavier though, so the ex would be a better choice for wheelieing. Personally, I like them both.
