Just curious if a 250ex rear shock would fit on a 300ex??

a raptor shoke will fit depending on theyear i think its 1999!!

The rear shock on the 250ex is almost an inch longer than the 300ex rear

So then it WOULD work? Just be about an inch higher?? Can't you adjust the preload or whatever down softer like the 300 one?? Sorry for all the ?? my shock is VERY soft & I found one for $50 just wondering if it wuold be worth it to have it repaired/new fluid ect or just slap another one on there!! :) thanks
