Front tire Size

I am going to be Ice racing in the non-studded class in about a month, and im getting stuff set up and what not. I ordered the maxxis 4-snows with rims for the rear. I have 23" kenda klaws for the fronts, and i have 21" carlise somethin or anothers for the front. I was wondering which would be better overall. I was thinking the kendas would grip up better, but give me a higher stance too? anyone have any input?

I have duros(21in.) in front and handle incredibly well on ice!
My friend tried my bike and the first thing he said was that it handle intensely well on ice!!
