I'm interested in getting my mustang wheels dipped in chrome. Is this possible? or can i have them powdercoated to a chrome finish? Which ever is easier. Will it hold up? I like the wheel, its the stock 17inch wheel from the 35th anniversary 99 GT, and dont feel like buying new chrome ones. Thanks for ur help.

yes you can have them chromed but it will cost you a good bit, it aint cheep. as far as powder coating something a chrome cooler, idk. ive never seen anything powder coated or painted a chrome cooler that looked very good.

i had my subframe chrome powdercoated at the beginning of the race season this year and it didnt hold up , it faded out and had worn spots in it where nothing ever touched , i will never use chrome powdercoat again , you might have better luck but i would go with real chrome .

To get a durable, non fading powdercoat chrome, you need to clear coat it wich will take away from its chrome look.

that's my exact wheel and finish. It's got like a paint on in from factory. Those arnt cut outs on the wheel its just a black decal that makes it look like that, which mine also have.
