wire problem: need help

I have a z-400 and the wire rubb and shorted out the CDI, well i got a new new and went to fix the wire and the wire broke. It is to close to the plug that plugs into the CDI and i was wonderin what to do. Does the part of the wire come out of the plug and if it does how to i get it out. I can't imagine that it doesn't come out but i haven't figured out how to get it out yet. Please help

sometimes you can use a pair of needle nose pliers to jiggle the connector out of the plug.
how close did it break off to the plug? is there enough room to get the tip of a soldering gun on the connection to solder it back together?

i hope i can jiggle it out. I already tried soderin it and it was too short.

anyone know how to get the wire plug part out of the plug itself
